Being first-time parents, Celeste’s years of experience raising children in combination to the superior quality of the facility, allowed us actually feel comfortable with the decision to enroll. We are not easy to appease. The standards for the quality of food served, interactive activities, consistent and fair discipline and re-enforcement of positive social behavior are exceptional. And if any concerns ever arose, Celeste was always interested in knowing and resolving. My favorite things were the crafts & artwork the kids brought home and the fact that Celeste demystified potty training, making it seamless. The kids are all preschool and younger which I really appreciate. The whole center is secure with a parent coded lock at the entry points. I don't know that you could do better than Celeste's."

We were beyond blessed to find Celeste's Childcare for our 2-year old daughter when we moved to Bellevue in 2014. Celeste is thoughtful, caring, flexible, and so communicative. So it was a no-brainer for us to send our youngest there as well when she was born. She went out of her way to meet our kids' needs and I had the utmost confidence in her ability to keep them safe and teach them to be respectful and kind. She introduced a wonderful age-appropriate curriculum and made sure the kids
ate healthy meals and got naps and play time every day. We moved to D.C. recently and I miss Celeste's Childcare every day!

You are outstanding at what you do. Before having our son in your daycare he was at another in-home daycare. We always preferred an in-home daycare so our kids could be around all age kids. He was one of 15 kids two morning per week. We thought it was a good daycare. But, we kept getting reports that CJ was biting other kids. He’s a rambunctious and sometimes aggressive boy but loving too. When he became part of your daycare he had only one biting incident in 12 months! At the previous daycare all the kids played in a back room without full-time adult eyes-on-the-kids supervision. At your daycare you’re consistently there with the kids helping them share, take turns, resolve conflict, giving redirection, and giving consistent discipline. These things that you do have helped my son learn helpful and effective and constructive ways to deal with his feelings and conflicts. The rules, atmosphere, and just patient and bright way you interact with the kids has made a huge improvement in our son’s behavior.
One of my favorite memories was from Mother’s Day. All the kids had made presents with you for their moms. That morning you prompted CJ to give the present to me and I just melted from the sweet gift my son made for me. CJ got so happy when he saw that I loved the gift that he jumped and squealed and ran to you and gave you a big hug! Not only do you give them solid rules, discipline, and supervision but you are so warm and caring that my son runs to you when he’s happy, also! It feels good to know that you’re taking such good care of my kids.
I didn’t have much experience with kids before having my own. Before I had our second child we let our first stand on the table, throw balls inside, and all sorts of other “rookie mistakes.” When CJ joined daycare, yours especially, you taught ME AND MY HUSBAND essential tactics, rules, and routines, that I couldn’t have learned from books. You taught us things like how to help the kids share, take turns, giving 5-3-1 minute warnings, and time outs. We pretty much copied your daycare rules in our home, and they have helped us be much better parents.
I loved that you took the kids outside everyday – rain or shine. I loved to get the paper at the end of the day telling me what the kids did and ate that day. I loved how well my kids napped at your daycare! I loved how well my kids ate at your daycare. I loved that my kids had a pack of friends that he saw every day while under your care.
If we didn’t move away we would absolutely have kept the kids in your daycare. All of us, CJ, Dakota, Ryan, and myself are going to miss being a part of your daycare. Thank you so much Celeste. You have a true gift and talent with young kids.
